fulfil the E2 & H2 verticals
Rural & Tribal Community Outreach Program (RTCOP)
Kaash Foundation conducts different programs to fulfill the E2 and H2 verticals (Education, Environment Health and Heritage).
The Foundation orchestrated a segment of the Outreach Program on the 8th and 14th of December, 2019. The Outreach Program encompasses development of skills among lesser privileged children and women.
As part of the RTCOP, Kaash Foundation is extensively trying to reach out to rural villages like Khamboli, Jawal, Katarkhadak, Rihe etc., in the Pune district of Maharashtra.
Under this branch of activity, we engage with these villages and schools and aim to aid them in overcoming scarcity in items demanded and required by them.
Since these areas face acute winter, Kaash Foundation arranged for blankets to be distributed amongst the students in the premises of Namdeorao Mohal Vidhyalaya, Khamboli, Mulshi Taluka, on the 8th and 14th of December, 2019.
The event was graced by Principal Bhamre and teachers Gole Sir, Parke Sir, Khedakar Sir and the school staff. The SSY and the Gram Panchayat members cooperated with the Foundation in the distribution of free blankets, thus ensuring the success of the event.
The Principal, teachers and students were extremely glad to receive the blankets and expressed their gratitude for the same to the Foundation.
Principal Bhamre conveyed his appreciation, “Our students needed blankets, and we are extremely thankful to Kaash Foundation and the SSY for helping us. We look forward to the Foundation’s support and cooperation in the future, as well.” (translated from Marathi).
According to the students, Kaash Foundation is their “beacon of hope.”
Kaash Foundation works relentlessly to bridge the gap between urban and rural backgrounds. This objective is an ongoing activity, and it is one that Kaash Foundation is extremely committed to.
The RTCOP was coordinated by Dr. Renuka Vyas (Jt. Director, Health, Kaash Foundation).
The foundation would like to extend special thanks to Mrs. Asha Pethani.
