14 th November 2021 – 14 th November 2024
On 14th November 2024, KAASH Foundation celebrated three years of dedicated service in the tribal areas of Vikramgad, Palghar District, Maharashtra, under its Rural and Tribal Community Outreach Program (RTCOP). This day was also special since it was the Foundation’s fourth Children’s Day celebration at Vikramgad.
Over the years, the Foundation has conducted regular health check-ups with the assistance of health experts and pediatricians. It has also distributed essential supplies and nutritional packets to address malnutrition among children in the region. These efforts have significantly improved the health of the community, as validated by the staff of the Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS) and anganwadi sevikas (supervisors).
This year, in addition to the regular distribution of essentials, the children were treated to Mohan Thal, a wholesome sweet made of pure ghee, gram flour, and almonds (both powdered and grated). Known for its nutritional benefits, especially during the winter season, this delicacy was warmly received by the children. The children thoroughly enjoyed this alongside bananas, coconut chips, and other nutritious snacks.
KAASH Foundation continues its commitment to improving the lives of tribal communities and looks forward to creating a lasting impact in the years to come.
