3rd December 2024
On 3rd December 2024, KAASH Foundation organized a health checkup camp along with the distribution of reusable sanitary napkins and healthy food packets for the young tribal girls in the villages of Saarshi and Khadaki in Vikramgad Taluka, Palghar District, Maharashtra. An interactive session on personal and menstrual hygiene was also conducted. This session was critical, as many girls face long-term gynecological health issues due to a lack of awareness. A total of 120 girls actively participated in this initiative.
This effort was made possible through the collaboration of anganwadi sevikas (supervisors) and officials from the Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS). The Foundation also extends its heartfelt gratitude to its CSR partner, Houlihan Lokey, for their invaluable support.
Through such initiatives, KAASH Foundation continues its mission to uplift marginalized communities and promote holistic development for young girls.
