Vikramgad Project Completes Four Years

KAASH Foundation proudly celebrated its Fifth Children’s Day on 14th November 2025 at Onde Grampanchayat School, Vikramgad, Palghar District, Maharashtra.
Since 14th November 2021, KAASH Foundation has been working consistently with malnourished tribal children in the Vikramgad–Palghar region. Over the years, the Foundation has undertaken several impactful initiatives, including:
KAASH Foundation strongly believes in the policy of inclusiveness and is committed to celebrating meaningful occasions like Children’s Day alongside tribal students and children, ensuring equal participation and joy. As part of the celebrations at the Onde Grampanchayat School, the Foundation distributed sports kits, including carrom boards, skipping ropes, volleyballs, badminton rackets, shuttlecocks, and other sports equipment. The Foundation also donated 40 floor mats, which will be used by students for multiple purposes. The event was attended by nearly 200 students, and a health awareness talk was organized for them. Each child received goodies and snacks, adding to the joy of the occasion.
Fulfilling a promise made to the students of Arts, Commerce & Science College, Onde, during the First Conclave for Tribal Youth on KAASH Foundation’s Sixth Jubilation Day, the Foundation also gifted volleyballs and badminton rackets to the college students during this event.
The celebration was held in memory of India’s first Prime Minister, Shri. Jawaharlal Nehru, honouring his love and commitment toward children. The day concluded with various activities and renewed assurances of continued support to the community.
The event was graced by Dr. Avkash Jadhav, Founder-Trustee, KAASH Foundation; Dr. Renuka Vyas, Joint Director (Health), KAASH Foundation; Ms. Archana Shah, Member, KAASH Foundation; and Dr. Vinod Sonavane, Principal, Arts, Commerce & Science College. Special thanks are extended to Dr. Santosh Dhamone from the college for his assistance in event arrangements. The occasion was also honoured by the presence of the Vice Sarpanch of Vikramgad, Mrs. Patil.
