Bicycle Donation to Tribal Students of Arts, Commerce & Science College, Onde
3rd October 2025
On 3rd October 2025, KAASH Foundation gifted five brand-new bicycles to girl students of Arts, Commerce & Science College, who demonstrated 100% attendance throughout the academic year. These girls braved various challenges to attend college everyday as they resided several kilometres away from the college campus. This thoughtful initiative directly addresses the mobility barrier in rural education, empowering these bright scholars to pursue their studies without the considerable stress and fatigue of long, daily walks. The bicycles were awarded to those who exhibited unwavering commitment, making their impeccable attendance record the core criteria for selection.
The five proud recipients, spanning different streams, are: Ashwini Krushna Baraf (F.Y.B.Sc.), Pallavi Chandrakant Belkar (F.Y.B.Sc.), Mayuri Nandu Khutade (F.Y.B.A.), Shalini Haresh Kurale (F.Y.B.A.), and Sejal Rajkumar Madesiya (F.Y.B.Com.).
The surprise and joy were instantly visible on the students’ faces. For them, the donation bought back precious time, eased physical strain, and fueled their futures. The College Principal warmly thanked KAASH Foundation, highlighting how such collaborations are essential for fostering a supportive educational environment for motivated students in the rural community. This act of benevolence is a powerful testament to how targeted welfare efforts can create an immediate and transformative impact on the lives of young people striving for a brighter future.
