SIXTH JUBILATION DAY
3rd October 2025
Six years ago, a visionary idea took root, an idea born from the belief that real change begins with citizens who care. KAASH Foundation was established by Dr. Avkash Jadhav, who firmly believes that unless citizens come forward to uplift their communities, the nation can never truly rise to the “heaven of freedom” envisioned by its leaders.
Guided by its holistic vision, the Foundation has been working tirelessly across its four verticals, Education, Environment, Health and Heritage. Its mission is to become a channel to empower knowledge by creating equal educational opportunities, fostering gratitude towards nature, nurturing sound mental and physical health, and cherishing India’s ancient cultural values through inclusive development. Over the past six years, this vision has translated into impactful action with programs that blend compassion with purpose and progress with participation.
As part of its Sixth Jubilation Day celebrations, KAASH Foundation organized its First Conclave for Tribal Youth at the Arts, Commerce & Science College, Onde, Taluka Vikramgad, District Palghar, Maharashtra. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students, whose attendance was recorded as they gathered to celebrate learning, culture, and empowerment.
The day began with the inaugural session, where warmth and purpose filled the air. Although Mr. Milind Patil, the Program Coordinator, could not be present due to prior commitments, his wife, Mrs. Patil, graciously attended on his behalf. Before his departure, Mr. Patil met with the KAASH Foundation team and expressed his gratitude for organizing such a meaningful program in Vikramgad. He assured the Foundation of his continued support and that of the college in creating more opportunities for students. He also conveyed his heartfelt wish for students to find success in their careers and to give back to their college, community, and society at large.
Following this, Dr. Geeta Ajit, Joint Director (Education), introduced the Foundation’s objectives and milestones, while Dr. Renuka Vyas, Joint Director (Health), offered an overview of KAASH’s six-year journey, its projects, achievements and enduring spirit of service. Dr. Avkash Jadhav, Founder-Trustee of the Foundation along with Dr. Renuka Vyas then encouraged students to open up, exchange ideas, and collaborate actively with both the college and the Foundation. Their words emphasized the importance of confidence and participation, especially among tribal youth who often hesitate to step forward. Their message resonated deeply, inspiring students to engage with new ideas and to take ownership of their growth and success.
A highlight of the day was the unveiling of KAASH Konnect, Volume 22 (April–June issue), the Foundation’s flagship publication. The unveiling was done jointly by Dr. Chandoji Gaikwad, Principal of Arts, Commerce & Science College, Onde, and Mrs. Patil, S.G.V. & S.S.G.S. The magazine, which reflects the Foundation’s ongoing work and thought leadership, was applauded as a valuable medium connecting communities through knowledge and inspiration.
The celebrations continued with a vibrant cultural program where students showcased their creativity through two thought-provoking skits. The first, marking the occasion of Dussehra, beautifully depicted instances from the Ramayana, from Lord Ram’s exile to Sita’s abduction by Ravana, Hanuman’s meeting with Sita at Ashokvatika and the ultimate triumph of good over evil. The performance not only highlighted moral strength and devotion but also resonated with the timeless message of righteousness. The second skit addressed a pressing social issue, farmer suicides. It portrayed the emotional struggle of a debt-ridden farmer driven to despair, only to be saved by divine intervention in the form of Lord Vitthal, who reminded him of his family’s dependence and the value of perseverance. The play delivered a powerful message about hope, empathy and collective responsibility toward the farmers who form the backbone of the nation.
The inaugural was followed by two plenary sessions featuring distinguished speakers from various walks of life who shared their insights on career prospects across different fields, finding one’s path after college, and the role of youth in nation-building. The discussions encouraged students to think beyond conventional choices, to see themselves as contributors to the country’s progress, and to understand how education and initiative can shape a stronger, self-reliant India.
The event concluded with the distribution of certificates to all participating students and the felicitation of the special guests and speakers. The ceremony recognized not just participation but the spirit of involvement and collaboration that KAASH Foundation aims to inspire.
The KAASH Foundation would sincerely like to express its gratitude to Mr. Milind Patil, Dr. Santosh Dhamone and the entire faculty of the Arts, Commerce & Science College, Onde, Taluka Vikramgad, for their invaluable support and co-operation in making the Sixth Jubilation Day a memorable success. Their encouragement and partnership added immense value to the event and strengthened the shared mission of empowering youth through education and collective effort.
The Sixth Jubilation Day of KAASH Foundation was more than an anniversary, it was a reaffirmation of its mission to empower through education, compassion, and action. As the Foundation continues its journey, each milestone stands as proof that when people come together for a common cause, even the smallest initiative can create waves of transformation.
